During her studies, she was awarded the Hong Kong Disneyland Scholarship and joined an exchange programme at Texas Tech University, USA, where she took part in staged readings. She also studied for a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at City University of Hong Kong. She is passionate about performance, culture, and teaching.
