BFA (Hons) in Sound System Design from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, d&b Soundscape Certified Engineer. Specialising in musical theatre and theatre sound design, Kwan-hung interned at London’s West End theatres in 2011-12 on a scholarship, exploring the integration of sound and performing arts.

Recent roles include sound coordination for Hong Kong Arts Festival 2025, HKADA’s More Arts Festival 2025, and WKCDA’s Hong Kong International Shakespeare Festival. He has designed sound for productions such as TSW theatre PTI Professional Physical Theatre Youth Training Programme, Sisyphus’ Dream, Titus 2.0, and Picnic in the Cemetery, with projects spanning the Edinburgh Fringe, Portugal, and Taiwan. In 2022, he founded Hahaha Production, providing sound production and teaching foundational sound design to schools like St. Paul’s Co-educational College and Ying Wa College, fostering the next generation of theatre sound professionals.
