Biography

Bobo Lee, Senior Producer for Performing Arts at West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, is a curator and creative producer driving innovation in theatre and cross-disciplinary art experiences.

Responsible for shaping the District’s artistic direction and strategies for Theatre Arts, Bobo has been collaborating with mid-career theatre creators and companies in Hong Kong since 2021 with initiatives like the "Future of Performance" and "WestK Creators" series.

She co-founded TechBox with the School of Theatre and Entertainment Art of Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2021, a platform exploring the fusion of technology and performance to empower the new generation of designers and to nurture new creative language and experience for theatre creation.

Lee is currently building Asia-Pacific exchange initiatives with regional partners, including "The Next Normal – Artist-in-Residence Programme" and "Asian Playwright and Script Focus," bridging cultures and expanding the theatre audience spectrum.
